Re: DaPainter.

Lyle,

Thanks so much for sharing, fantastic program.
It had actually blown a gaping hole in my self esteem as what it does in with automatic setting is so much better then anything I can come up on my own

As far as auto painting in Painter goes, I do not believe it was ever designed to give a finished painting, it is more of an underpainting, something to establish color scheme and spacial arrangement, nothing more then that.

Re: DaPainter.

Nice program, Lyle. Too bad there isn't a Mac version. I'd certainly try it if there was.

Re: DaPainter.

So, how does one actually go about removing texture...
There is "canvas" section, but I believe it mostly refers to the image size....
(that's version 1.8)
Thank you.

Re: DaPainter.

Uncheck the Canvas option gives you white background. Oscar still doesn't see the need for transparent background for whatever reason, so I stopped chiding him about it (and work around that issue; not a good solution, but so far it has worked well enough).

Re: DaPainter.

lol; I've not really noticed an issue with my PC since I upgraded it from 1.6GHz single processor and 1GByte to 2.4GHz Dual Core AMD 2GBytes.
