i'm not sure if this is the right thread, but certainly the restoration forum was not. perhaps you'll find what you need here.

Re: Creating Table in Freehand

I'm not sure about Freehand, but using Illustrator it works by simply selecting the table, copying & pasting.

----------
I've tried, This method does not work in Freehand.

Re: Creating Table in Freehand

InDesign will create a table from a block of text. You could then export it as a PDF and open that pdf in Illustrator (and presumably Freehand). It would be vector-based and have individually editable text fields. But creating a table in freehand straight from Word is a bit long-winded. Any help?

Re: Creating Table in Freehand

InDesign can also import a table from word. And for that matter, if you have acrobat, you can export the table from word directly to a pdf. Just print to a pdf. As far as freehand goes though, I am not familiar with that program.
