Here is the site that has the PARCHMENT effect I used in that picture. There are 4 sets, or were when I was there last - set #3 has parchment, I believe.

Attached is a very good grayscale-sepia action that I downloaded from Adobe Exchange. It's a great action for a base before colorizing a photo.

Action: Howie's Blur and Stroke

This action was inspired by Howie Mudge.

Based on a user selection, the action:
* Lightens or darkens the frame area
* Blurs the frame area
* Applies a stroke at the frame / image boundary

A considerable amount of flexibility is built-in for adjusting frame characteristics and stroke color.

For example output click HERE.

This has been tested under PS 5.5, PS 7.

Lynda Logan inspired sketch Photoshop action

This action was inspired by a technique described by Lynda Logan here: http://www.dpreview.com/forums/read....essage=3910171

Example output can be viewed in THIS THREAD.

Version 3 has a correction to the on-screen message describing possible variations; the zip file has also been fixed. (106)

Have fun!
