| | | Starfield Action This action creates a background starfield. Great for that outerspace feel.

| | | 8-segment Kaleidoscope Action This action creates an 8-segment kaleidoscope. (Versions for different numbers of segments are on the way.)
Update: The action file included in the zip file contains actions for 6-, 8-, 10- and 12-segment kaleidoscopes. However, because of upload file size restrictions, I am only able to include one GIF file needed to complete the kaleidoscope - in this case, the 8-segment one.
Zip files for the other kaleidoscopes follow this post.

| | | Action: Another Painter Originally posted HERE by OhThatGirl2001
I found a great action that does a ton of the work for you!
It's called "Another Painter" and I found it in Adobe Xchange Actions. It's actually quite a neat little program.

| | | Loading Actions into Photoshop: In photoshop, you can actually place actions in any directory you want. When you go to load the action, just browse to that location. Typically they are located in the Adobe Goodies folder under actions.
To load an action set, go to the Actions palette, then click the small arrow in the top right corner and navigate to the location where you saved the action. Select the file you'd like to load and it will be added to the actions palette.

| | | Selection Actions These are my own actions, nuthin spectacular but they took care of a few of my little photoshop "itches". After you have them loaded up:
F5=Contract Selection by 1 px
F6=Expand Selection by 1 px
Ctrl+F5=Contract Selection by 5 px
Shift+F6=Expand Selection by 5 px
F7=Rotate selection 15 degs. CW
F8=Rotate selection 15 degs. CCW
Cheers,
Etienne
P.S.I got denied for trying to sen an invlaid file type, being the lazy bastartd I amI just changed the extension to .jpg. Make sure you change it back to .atn.
P.P.S. So your nifty forum was smart enough to know my plan and foiled. On top of this I use winrar for file compression aaarrrgghhhh. I'll send it when I get to work....stupid machines |

| | | Hmmm... When I opened this .zip, there's nothing in it.
Is it just me?

| | | Action: DigiCheck Chart (calibration) Photoshop 5.x or higher Action, ZIP compressed.
This action will create a device independent LAB mode document for calibration and evaluation purposes - for either monitor, output device or simply to test a ICC profile transform to another colour mode.
The upper section contains a digital approximation of a GretagMacbeth ColorChecker target. The middle section contains a neutral grayscale gradient and steps. The lower section will use a random cloud pattern to form seven CG test 'images' - with casts ranging from R/G/B/Neutral/C/M/Y.
Regards,
Stephen Marsh. |
