Thanks for the image. Here's what I did. I ran the filter in the default mode for dark specks and noticed it affected the eyes, lips and such. After I ran the filter I used the history brush set to the snapshot and painted back the eyes, ears, fingers, noses and lips. I then created a snapshot at that state and ran the filter a second time and again followed the procedure with the history brush set to the newest snapshot state. As you can see, alot of the specks were illiminated with little or no blurring.

I didn't know what that was but I was only dealing with black specks so I didn't worry about it.
I guess she's the guiding light in the family.

Stephen,

Thanks for posting this. I have friends with Macs who wanted to try this before but could not. I'll let them know right away.

Re: Polaroid Dust & Scratch Removal Software

UPDATE: If you are searching for the Polaroid Dust & Scratches Removal tool (WIN) at the original link, it's no longer there. I found it at http://polaroid-dust-scratch-removal...c.com/download and there may be a MAC version, too, but I did not notice. PLEASE NOTE: The Softonic website uses a downloader to deliver the program. It tries to install a toolbar so if you don't want it, choose "custom" installation and un-check the extras. After I downloaded the Polaroid program (which installed without any problems and works very well), a window opened with video advertisement followed by an explanation of how Softonic works. I don't see it as a program installed on my computer so I'm hoping it was simply a popup but I didn't care much for the intrusion. No free lunch, I guess!
