Fine Tuning Marquee Tool

When a selection has been made with the rectangular marquee tool, is there any way to fine tune it to the required selection?

Hiya mavarick,

If I get you right, all you need to do is go upto the "select" menue and "transform selection" this will give you full editability of your rectangular marquee.

Or, if you need to add or subtract from it, you can click the quick mask under the forground/background squares, then use marques or brush tools to make changes to it.

Or to fine tune it you can go Select>Modify with options to Smooth, Expand, Contract, Feather, Similar. Then there is also Select > Refine Edge. There's also Select>Grow.
