Found this site today and thought i would share it
Wordle

Because it is fun, but with one draw back you cant save the given image you have to do a screenshot ! ! ! !

give it a try but if you are going to post the outcome make sure it is clean please

Palms, you can save it. Click on the Print Button and when it asks you permission to access your printer, say yes. When the print dialog comes up, choose Adobe PDF as the printer, instead of you mechanical printer. It will then save a high res pdf approx 7 x 10" at 300 ppi. You can then do a File>Open in PS and save in any format you wish. Really nice. Thanks for the link.

just had the thought you could make a image out of your name and overlay as a sort of watermark.

Pretty much how I did it except I used a ADIST to create a Postscript Output printer (well, actually did this a year ago; lol) and used Ghostview to create the bitmap. Don't know why the author didn't just allow you to save the image; oh well.

Palms, yes these are great for making unique watermarks, but it is easy to get carried away

Yeah; uploaded my diablo halloween template and used a Halloween theme of words for the word cloud. When they go full commercial, you'll have to pay for this option unfortunately.

Well, wordle is still free

But hey, if you *really* needed it, you'd pay for it, provided it is a pay per use thing and not a pay per year or whatever.

I've see a lot of T-Shirts with Wordle like art; I think tagxedo art would have more impact. Still, Photo-artophy is a hobby of mine, and these text effects really is just a diversion compared to the other types of photo-art that I actually end up doing. Still, as a temporary diversion, it does have some charm.

Firefox on an iMac lets you save stuff as a PDF...I then massaged it a bit to make it the right size (pixel and file - wise)
