Re: photo gallery scripts It sounds like not too many people are using these scripts. Just to give some background, they are server side scripts that are used to create a photo galleries with relatively little effort (at least that is in theory). I learned about them after spending some painful time building and uploading a few galleries that I pretty much had to do manually, so this sounds like a handy alternative links: http://coppermine-gallery.net/ http://www.zenphoto.org/ After they are installed (which could be a bit of struggle depending on a given host) uploading and managing photos should be fairly straightforward

Re: photo gallery scripts Finally selected Coppermine,it seemed it easier to customize without getting into script change. installation was quite straightforward. Here is the link to installed default http://www.adpaintings.com/gallery/ ....logo and links are fairly easy to change by editing HPML template; changing fonts and colors is a bit more difficult as it requires going into style files *.css More extensive adjustments would require editing the script I apologize for all this rumbling in case it is of little interest, for me it seemed fairly exiting to be able to create a gallery with functionality similar to photobusket by simply installing an open source script.

Re: photo gallery scripts Way Kewl! Are you going to Host! I know nothing about what you are doing. The only other brush with Coppermine I've had is on Curvemeisters site when he used it as his challenge Gallery for people to download/upload pictures to... very slick and efficient... HOWEVER.. According to THIS his site was hacked and he has completely redone the Curvemeister gallery, using new gallery software that is more secure and allows for "image voting". I think he is using Photo Sharing Gallery by PhotoPost now.. Be safe! You might consider shooting him a PM (he is a long time member here but does not post often) or go to his site and click the contact button (E-mail}

Re: photo gallery scripts OlBandy, Thank you. I did not know that Coppermine was a nickname, thought it was a just a script name. Security for Coppermine (same I suppose as for any server software or windows for that matter) is an uphill struggle with new vulnerabilities are being periodically discovered and patched. PS Don't think I would like to host anything but my stuff, but this makes uploading and organizing so easy.
