Help with painting in Painter X!!! (Desperate)

Hey. I just got painter X a few months ago and ive semi-learned how to use it but nothing I paint looks decent. Its kind of shot in the dark but does anyone know how to paint something similar to this persons HP art?

I'm trying to make a cover for a book I am doing but its not coming out right. Can anyone give me a small tutorial or maybe some steps as to how to do this? It doesn't need to be detailed or anything. Help would be much appreciated. Thanks

Thank you but unfortunately i've tried those searches (painter X tutorials, painter 11 tutorials, ect.) but i haven't gotten the results i'm looking for. I've tried asking the artist but they haven't replied. Thanks for being the first to reply though.
