PDF software

Hi Guys

I have recently retouched a few images for a small magazine. The client wants me to do a media pack for them using the shots now. They require a PDF file. I'm not sure which software will do the job. Will create a good PDF media pack. Can anyone recommend me something please?

I looked into my PS but couldnt find any option in there creating joined pages PDF file. Am I missing something or Photoshop dont do this?

Create a PDF contact sheet or presentation with Adobe Output Module


Not sure if this is what you will need, but Bridge does output to PDFs.

What would do the job really well is Adobe Acrobat Standard, which last time I purchased was around $200 but I use it to create, stich, edit, extract pdf files and output many of my other applications to pdf files. There may be some more simple utilities / shareware / freeware which have selective Acrobat features and are much smaller applications. You might try searching Download.com

You can try Scribus software - open source version similar to QuarkXpress or InDesign.

Photoshop will do this.
Try 'File/Automate/PDF Presentation' choose the files and check all the options.

Peter, I checked my File/Automate in CS5 and there is no PDF Presentation.

What version do you have it in?

Oh well I'm using CS2, but Adobe seem to move stuff about in different versions of PS so it could be somewhere else in the menus or poss they got rid of if all together.
You should be able to save single images as PDF though.
