Greetings and a question.... Hello all.... I have Painter 8 on an older mac. I have not used it for a long time...but now I would like to re-visit it. However, so many of the settings seem to be not what I want...(my fault I know) but I really can't see how to return everything to the original default setting. Is there a way to do this? Should I just re-install Painter? Do I have to un-install the old one first if this is what I decide to do? Thanks.... Please feel free to answer me by email or in this message board.... ( twiga2@mac.com ) Thanks in advance for any suggestions...

Re: Greetings and a question.... give this a try # Hold down the Shift key while starting the application. A prompt will appear asking you to confirm that you want to restore the default settings. # Click Yes/Current Workspace. Please note that your customized user settings will be lost as a result.

Re: Greetings and a question.... Well, the best way is to first uninstall your old app and then reinstall the newer one. Hopefully, it will work well then. Good luck! Last edited by Cathy Duncan; 10-24-2010 at 10:54 PM. Reason: ..
