| Impressionist plugin Windows 7 problem When I try to save a custom variant of a brush style in the Impressionist plugin filter (in Photoshop Elements 9 under Windows 7 -64 bit) I get the Impressionist message: "User Settings.set Access is denied". I don't have this problem on my XP computer in Photoshop Elements 6. I'm guessing this is a Windows 7 problem and not to do with the newer version of Elements. Any ideas? |

| re: Impressionist plugin Windows 7 problem You need to run the application that you are running Impressionist in as Administrator (say you are running Impressionist in Irfanview; you right click on Irfanview, run as Administrator, then run Impressionist and then create your custom preset. Then you will be able to save it). I know this is wack, but it is there to prevent programs from messing up system files (when you run as Administrator, you pretty much can mess your system up if you don't know what you are doing). I also have to do this to create custom DAP presets (didn't have to in XP, but XP is not what I call a secure OS either). |
