Photoshop: Tool settings in custom panels?

Anyone knows how I can add brushes with specific settings like size, opacity etc. to a custom panel?

Is it only possible to call a brush/tool preset in an action and add the action to the panel?

Amica, there is an Icon on the Option bar and when you click it the brush panel will open. Within that panel if you click the little triangle a context menu pops up with a long list of options which include saving and loading brush presets. But perhaps I do not understand what you are trying to do.

Thank you MrMonday, I was hoping you'd jump in :-)

What I am trying to do is to create a custom retouching panel with the Adobe Configurator. So far everything is rather clear except that I can't seem to include brushes/clone stamp with specific settings, only the tool itself.

Let's say I want to add a 3x clone stamp brush in darken mode and one in lighten mode as I need them rather often. And some d&b brushes with varying opacities/flows....Can't seem to figure it out and found nothing on the web so far, only invoking actions and call them in the panel...

Amica, when you are building your panel, in addition to adding the Brush tool, go to Commands>Panels>Brush and select options like Show Brush and Show Brush Presets. There are also a bunch of other commands you may wish to drag over such as Replace, Reset, Define, etc.
