| DVD burnt on Mac, can't view on PC..help! DVD burnt on Mac, can't view on PC..help! Hi, so I am wondering if anyone knows how it will be possible to fix this problem? I only have PCs in the house, I burnt a load of DVDs on a Mac at work. They showed fine on there. On my PC now it's saying they are empty, which I know they aren't. I have just left this job and it will be a while before I have acess to a Mac again. Does anyone know of any possible software I could d/l to help view my work on the DVDs? I have seen programs for Mac that let you view stuff burnt on PC, just not the other way round. Thanks for reading! Amy |

| Re: DVD burnt on Mac, can't view on PC..help! Thanks! I will give it a go. I did want to use Toast, I think I may have mistakenly heard it was freeware previously.. It was my last day or two at that place and wasn't really in the position to ask for them to pay for it! I will keep that in mind though, thanks. |

| Re: DVD burnt on Mac, can't view on PC..help! Can I assume the content on the DVD are data files and not a movie type DVD? If that is correct, what program was used to burn the DVD. Many "drag to disc" / DVD burner programs leave a disc open when it is ejected. If that is the case your PC may only be able to recognize the DVD if the same program is installed on it. | Re: DVD burnt on Mac, can't view on PC..help! The Mac drive program isn't really working at the moment, maybe I am doing something wrong. I used the Mac freeware 'Burn', just checked it out and it's only for Mac. All the files on the DVD's are images and some psd files. The DVD is still open as I have the option to put more files on it. So frustrating!! Wanted to edit stuff while I had a few days inbetween-jobs time. May just have to be patient I think.. |

| Re: DVD burnt on Mac, can't view on PC..help! You might want to try this data recovery tool. It's free. I have not tried it but I do use a number of tools from this company - they are great and reliable. Anyway this one has a free version so it might be worth a try. http://www.powerdatarecovery.com/?pw Regards, Murray |
