Re: Here is FFT for 64 bit photoshop

Anyone still interested in this thread? I believe that I have found a bug in the 16 bit input to this plugin.

Re: Here is FFT for 64 bit photoshop

I've found that 16 bit processing is really truncated to 8 bits so the amplitude spectrum is not correct.

I find no limit on file size.

Needs 32 bit input option and 32 bit floating point transform for best usage.

Anyone a seasoned windows programmer to help me? I can get the transform part squared but Visual Studio etc. are long ago VC6 for me.

Re: Here is FFT for 64 bit photoshop

Try for 8 bit image and should work unless image is very bright. Probably will clip if real bright. 16 bit will run but output will be wrong.
Enjoy,

What are the pixel dimensions of your image?

Make sure you have only one layer and that this layer is Background

Scrappy,
What is not working? The red channel is the power spectrum, green is phase, and the blue is just blue=127. Look at the red and green channels individually. What does the input look like? Is it a a spike? Do not use an output method that compresses like jpg. Png is better or TIF.

Re: Here is FFT for 64 bit photoshop

You exceeded the limitations of the PS plugin therefore you need to forget plugin and use ImageJ
