What do you mean by a big picture?
Can you post an example of an image you are having problems with?

Re: Here is FFT for 64 bit photoshop

The image is 450 Mo (10244 * 7745).
I launch FFT, 20s later the RGB layer is pink, the Red layer is empty (white) the blue is midle grey and green seems ok.

After, if I launch IFFT without grayed the stars on the red layer, all the layers happens to white.

If I crop the picture to 131 Mo, FFT and IFFT are OK.

The issu is only about the size of the image.

Re: Here is FFT for 64 bit photoshop

You seemed to have answered your question the image size is probably too big and in this case by a large margin.

In post #39 I suggested this
Not sure if I am correct but seem to recall a maximum image size of around 4800x4800 pixels quoted somewhere.

So far no one has suggested that this limit is incorrect however if you read post #31 the OP suggests that this happens with his image of only 2895x4094 pixels

AFAIK the 4800 limit stands http://www.3d4x.ch/?c=16,35

OK, I learn there is a size limit to 4800.

This is not a modern limit :-)

Re: Here is FFT for 64 bit photoshop

The best solution is to migrate to GIMP for Windows.
The FFT plugin doesn't have the 4800 pixels limit.

Re: Here is FFT for 64 bit photoshop

The limit in Photoshop x64 appears to me to be 8 Mpixels regardless of aspect ratio. I.e. in the Info panel the Doc: maximum value is 24.0M. Anything bigger results in a white red channel.

tatayoyo: Does GIMP use the same plugins?

Re: Here is FFT for 64 bit photoshop

No he doesn't.
The GIMP's plugin is better.
So I give up the PS FFT plugin for the GIMP plugin.
