Not tested limits myself but if this file is the original Alex Chirokov new version 2008 then it is claimed to work up to 4800x4800 pixels according to this web site

Re: Here is FFT for 64 bit photoshop

That's wrong or outdated though - or at best a *very* vague guideline.

Tested on 8-bit document:

* 6000x6000 works!
* 4300x2700 doesn't work!

The truth is clearly not a specific max width/heigth or a total number of pixels, but something more complex.

Just tried it and found the same thing as you did. Got a very strange semi solarised look on one image. Not tested but I wonder if after a certain size the pixel count has to be the same in the x and y directions to work correctly e.g. your 6000x6000?

Re: Here is FFT for 64 bit photoshop

Been trying to get the Joofa Plugin to work with PS CC and my iMac (OS 10.9.2). Can anyone confirm if they've got the plugin working with this configuration AND if YES whereabouts are the plugin files being placed? Majority of the tut's online appear to be PRE PS CC and OS 10.5 or 10.6. Only new to this and seeking guidance.
Thanks

The plugins here are Windows only. As far as I know there is no mac plugin.

For Mac try processing using the application imageJ.

Hi, I am using Phosthop 4 with Windows 7, 64-bit. I have put the 8bf files in the Filters folder inside Photoshop Plugins folder. That is where all my other 8bf files are. I put the libfftwx64_3-3.dll file in the Photoshop CS4 folder. The two .dll files are already in my System32 folder. Still, I do not see this filter under Filters in Photoshop. What am I doing wrong? I really really need this, and it's driving me nuts!

I hear you monelle I have the same specs. I've carefully followed the instructions, and got nothing. I've tried the 8bf files in multiple locations and put in multiple copies hoping CS4 would find them. I've tried moving the libfftwx64 file around to different locations and this thing just refused to work. After few hours I was getting pretty fed up with this thing. I then tried also putting in the x86 files into the CS4 folder in "Program Files (x86)" side and bingo, its working. May sound obvious to more tech savy types but it was a lot of frustration for me.

Re: Here is FFT for 64 bit photoshop

Yep, Photoshop CS4 is 32-bit only. You have to use the 32-bit plugin.
The 64-bit version will only work with a 64-bit version of Photoshop.

It sounds obvious to us tech-savy types, but might be confusing for those who don't know the difference between 32 and 64-bit.
