Software Photoshop, Paintshop Pro, Painter, etc., and all their various plugins. Of course, you can also discuss all other programs, as well.

Which plugin is this? This is driving me nuts. Not because I need the plugin, but simply because my aging brain refuses to remember the name of it, and that is unreasonably bothering me. It's a plugin for tonal adjustments, perhaps even tonemapping, that (perhaps among other features) can map the tones of one image to the tones of another image. I recall seeing a demo where they took a perfectly servicable but bland landscape photo and told it to use one of Adams' Yosemite pictures as its tone source.

Re: Which plugin is this? Congrats Doug! That was a bit obscure but you got it. I had tried to help Doug and came up with DFT PhotoCopy, but of course that wasn't it. Speaking of preview technology, awhile back I read about some software in the works that took photos of buildings, trees or other objects and created 3D models of them for use in 3D software. Now THAT was cool! See it here. Me want! Last edited by plugsnpixels; 06-12-2011 at 12:42 AM.
