which corel auto-painting product? I'm looking for something to auto paint photographs and corel has a mind boggling selection. there's; Paint it! (which I have on the ipad and it's great). There's a mac desktop version but I can't find the second tutorial video... Paint it! appears to be included with Painter Essentials and there's PaintShop Photo Express (pro?) as well. Can anybody recommend one over the other? I've demoed Alien Skin's Snap art but I guess I am just too heavy handed to get good results from that... Thanks in advance, Nancy [edited to add an image. Oh great! This is so much fun that I'll never get anything useful done now :-) ) Last edited by Nasturtium; 09-01-2011 at 02:58 AM. Reason: added an image

Re: which corel auto-painting product? hi nancy, are you looking for something for a pc, mac or your ipad? if the ipad, i can recommend a couple: Mobile Monet HD (this one takes any pic and turns it black and white sketch. you then put back original colors by 'painting' with your finger/stylus); AutoPainter HD (this one you do very little but set up the broad parameters and let it work. it's kind of interesting results at times, though sometimes not); PS Express (which is one of photoshop's entries into the app world. it's not Elements, but it does have some of the basic PS type tools and features); oh, and ArtRage is on here, too! ok, forget the rest and get ArtRage. that one you can truly paint with. it's probably the same as the full blown pc version and has a lot of tools. go with that one first

Re: which corel auto-painting product? Click here and look under the heading for "Natural media/paint". GMX - PhotoPainter does the auto painting you describe while others add paint-like effects.
