Photoshop question

Just a quickie about CS5 Photoshop. I want to know how I set "Float all in windows" images as my default. Multiple images on screen are tabbed as a group which I don't like. Cheers.

Re: Photoshop question

Under the 'window' menu, deselect the 'application frame' command ... if I understand correctly what you need.

Re: Photoshop question

If I understand correctly (PC based system) Edit > Preferences > Interface deselect Open documents as tabs.

Re: Photoshop question

Thanks chaps. Under 'Window' (top menu) there is a sub menu 'Arrange' which allows you to load pictures to your desktop in any number of arrays, eg Cascade, Tile, Float etc. The default setting tabs multiple pix together rather than each image remaining independent on the desktop. The solution was in General Preferences, Panels and documents, where you have to deselect the tabs box. My excuse is my brain was fried after a long day!

Re: Photoshop question

I actually love the tabbed interface and the application frame, with the options to split into multi-image arrangements. Have you given it a chance?
