Topaz Adjust 5 coming soon

Topaz is getting ready to release Adjust 5, an update to their most popular plug-in, next week (see sample screenshot below). At this time it is planned to be a free upgrade for existing users with a special discounted price for those that are new to Topaz (or for those who are already users and want to upgrade to the bundle or any bundle upgrade).

New features include:

1. Selective Brush. For easy dodging, burning smoothing and removing adjustments.

2. Finishing touches. Features options for borders, transparency, grain, warmth, vignettes and more.

3. Preset collections. Presets are organized into unique collections.

4. Apply button. Stack multiple effects and presets during the same workflow.

5. Auto create layer. Automatically creates a new layer where your adjustments will be saved.

6. Effect enable/disable. Clickable preview options that allow you to hide or view a set of adjustments for easy comparison.

7. Histogram. Built into the Preview Navigator window.

8. Ordered interface workflow. The interface is set up in numbered stages for a quick and easy workflow.

9. Individual tab reset buttons. Quickly reset the parameters in a specific adjustment tab without affecting your other settings.

10. Split Screen. Use the 2-screen split view for easy before and after comparison.

For more info and a discount code, keep an eye on this page, subscribe to the Plugs 'N Pixels mailing list and follow P&P on Twitter. I also expect to run a contest for a few free copies of Adjust 5 for those on the mailing list.

Re: Topaz Adjust 5 coming soon

I got the email earlier today with a link to a sneak peek. It looks like a very nice upgrade with some very useful features. I couldn't find anything that said was a free upgrade for existing, so that is good to know.

Re: Topaz Adjust 5 coming soon

Looks like a Tuesday release. I'll be keeping my Adjust page updated with a screenshot, list of the new version 5 features and other details as I receive them.

By Tuesday there should be specific discount info (the upgrade is free for existing customers and new customers can save on Adjust itself, the entire Topaz bundle or upgrades to the Bundle).

I also plan to run a photo contest where a handful of winners will receive Adjust 5 for free. For info on this and other contests you need to be a Plugs 'N Pixels subscriber or Twitter follower.

Wow, that's great! It's hard to believe Topaz keeps doing the free upgrades and not just minor ones that are free.

Hey Adobe - are you hearing this??

Re: Topaz Adjust 5 coming soon

Yes, Topaz is stepping up its game and working toward more integration of its product line into Adjust's single interface. Adjust is their most popular plug-in and I would say one of the top third-party Photoshop/compatible plug-ins currently available.

I just installed the upgrade also. Looks pretty good. Definitely one of the best plug-in's for the money.

And they have more to add to this version, but ran out of time for the initial release. So watch for the updates!

I love the policy of giving free upgrades, and I love the improvements that Adjust 5 has added -- will be having a lot of fun learning how to make use of the new features!
