Re: Super-Resolution image enlargement software I had saw that same article Doug and started a similar thread at GIMPChat the other day; still no takers (hoped since the free version used Python; lol). http://gimpchat.com/viewtopic.php?f=4&t=4762

I then tried Perfect Resize with CS5. Not a comprehensive test but my conclusion based on just one image I could not see a difference either on screen and then finally in print. Link to that post Here Other users with earlier PS versions did feel there were benefits. At the end of the article it does say that PR employs features very similar whatever that means |

Re: Super-Resolution image enlargement software They say that but seems bogus to me. Like you, testing I did with PR didn’t provide anything useful when images were output. They didn’t look a lick like the differences we see in the article.

Re: Super-Resolution image enlargement software Hi Thanks for the link Doug. Interesting stuff. The example pictures are very impressive but Supreme does say that the sample was “based on the 30 input frames” so it seems that footage from surveillance cameras or video footage may be better suited to this method. I have tried to get Supreme up and running but keep getting the error Code: No module named numpy Regards Ken

Re: Super-Resolution image enlargement software I got a little further I installed Numpy (the numerical processor) which got me past the numpy error. Now I get “unable to find vcvarsall.bat” I read that this can be caused by not having ming installed. But installing ming has not solved the error. Any Ideas? Regards Ken
