FilterHub is a Photoshop extension that makes it easier to run filters and adjustments. Instead of having to open a menu every time you run a filter, FilterHub provides a panel that you can keep open in the work area, or docked with the other panels. (IOW, it fits seamlessly into the Photoshop interface). It displays all your filters, and all of Photoshop's filters (including Adjustments). It can also display subsets, or you can set up favorites and show only those.
FilterHub does a bunch of other things too. It can automatically duplicate your layer when you run filters, or automatically make a smart object. It can automatically add a mask to paint on the effect. And more. But I'm trying to keep this brief because you can read the rest on the website.
Anyway, I did a lot of testing with FilterHub, and after a couple weeks I was hooked. I can't imagine working without it now. If you use filters in your work, you should at least test drive the demo. It's hard to tell how much time this saves by just reading about it. http://thepluginsite.com/products/filterhub/index.htm
BTW, this requires Photoshop CS4, CS5 and CS6 running on Windows or MacOS X. It will not work on other software because it utilizes Photoshop's ability to incorporate extensions.
