Topaz website: False malware flag
If you visited Topaz' website lately you may have received a [false] malware warning. I discussed this with them today and here is their reply:

2/15/2013 3:42PM CST:

Google started flagging our website as suspicious in the early morning of February 15th, 2013. This was caused by a piece of small advertising malware inserted by a third party into a javascript file included across the site. We immediately removed the offending malware from all pages and re-submitted our site to Google for reconsideration, which usually takes a couple of days.

The problem resided solely in a javascript file that aimed to redirect users to an external ad unaffiliated with our site. Our product installers and executables were not affected, and your personal information was not accessed or affected.

Although Google still flags the site as suspicious at the time of this writing, you should not experience any problems using the site. There should also be no unauthorized third-party redirects or advertising banners at this time. Email me directly if you experience otherwise.

Today we're contracting an external security company to harden up our server security and prevent attackers from inserting their code in the future. We're taking this very seriously and taking every precaution to ensure that this doesn't happen again.

Thanks for your understanding and sorry for any inconvenience this may have caused. Please contact me at security <@> if you have any questions.
