So at some point in the future if you are forced to discontinue your subscription, your version of CC ceases to function. If you do not have an older version of PS you will not be able to open any .psd or other Adobe proprietary files that you have saved. Which means you will need to save all your PS CC work as jpg or tiff.
Thanks Murray, I'll keep that in mind if I keep using it. I'm just a hobbiest so spending that much money doesn't make fiscal sense
I've used Photoshop Elements in the past so if I need a more permanent solution, I can get it for $79 in the MacOS App Store. It a version behind, but the last version I had was 3, so the jump to v.11 will be astronomical and the difference between 11&12 won't matter.
