Photoshop 6 Hi I am trying to make my photoshop become the default program for my images. I am not sure whether I should have made it the default on installation or if I can do it in retrospect. Have tried the help program but I am obviously not asking the right question. Thanks Ben

Hi Ben, A very simple way is to right click on any picture you would like photoshop to open. Then click on the "open with" option. Make sure the check is on at bottom: "Always use this program with these types of files". Then scroll to the photoshop program on the list and click it. Now all files of the same type as your picture will open in photoshop

If you have any problems with the file associations reverting back after re-booting you will probably have to edit the win.ini file as it sometimes stores file associations and is read into the registry at startup. Rich
