| Blend Mode Math, CHOPs etc. A while back Doug asked on the Adobe forums about deeper info on the blend modes found in Photoshop, including the new ones found in v7. Although this link does not cover Photoshop, many blend modes are explained in further detail. It also has a primer on the basics of imaging too. The old Kai's Power Tips on CHOP's can also be considered to be ground breaking as well when it comes to inter-channel math. | Stephen, thanks for the chops link -- I've owned "Channel Chops" for a couple of years, and am just getting to where I'm understanding a good deal of it. This link is an easier read. | Hi CJ, and thanks for the addition to this thread. To keep the ball rolling, here is a complex layer blending mode 'actorial' which seems to work as intended with Photoshop 6 but does not seem to work right in v7 (but I could be doing something wrong). This is not my action, just an Adobe Exchange d/load I did becuase I did not know what an actorial was...(think of a tutorial combined into an action). Stephen Marsh.
