Unhappy Photoshop font

Hello again, this afternoon for some reason my Photoshop program, when booting says it can't load the interface font, so it loads with something else. It seems ok but does anyone know what the font is so maybe I can reinstall it? Thanks

Which version of Photoshop do you have?

I've seen other reports of this problem on the web -- it sounds as though reinstalling doesn't tend to fix it. You could try deleting your "Preferences" folder to see if that fixes things, otherwise I believe the fonts it's looking for live in Program Files\Common Files\Adobe\Fonts\Reqrd -- if you let us know what version of Photoshop you have then someone else can compare contents of that folder and subfolders.

Smile I fond the answer

I fond out what to do with a Google search.
While loading photoshop hold ctrl/alt/shift keys--when asked to delete settings folder click yes. It took care of the problem. I don't know why it would affect the fonts but it does. Thanks for the reply.

When the preferences file becomes corrupt you find that strange thing do happen in Photoshop. Keep a note of the delete prefs shortcut as you will probably need it again at some time on the future.

Glad that you have managed to sort it out.
