Software Photoshop, Paintshop Pro, Painter, etc., and all their various plugins. Of course, you can also discuss all other programs, as well.

PC/Win: Silly Lil' Plugs Stroker-style

Burned the oil. Burned a candle at both ends and even a little bit in the middle.

If you have my old ones, please delete them.
As a favor to me and my idiocy.

Extract plug-ins to your plug-in directory.
Will be Filter > Tech Slop.

All are beta 1 and have no real error checking just yet.
Meant for RGB mode, so no guarantees if non-RGB mode.

The actual files have the prefix "TS_".

Plug-in Revamp

Windows XP
Photoshop 7
Should work for your flavor of Win and/or Photoshop.

Extract plug-ins to your plug-in directory.
Will be Filter > Tech Slop.

TS_plugins ~560k

Additive Wrap-Around
Add or substract a given amount from 0 - 255.
Will wrap values that are out of bounds.
Meant as a compliment to Extract Hue.
There are more uses for this, but they escape me right now.
Long story.

Extract Hue
Extracts hue either to colour or greyscale.
When sat=0% for a given pixel, will fill with an easily identifiable alternative.

Extract Luminosity
Extracts Photoshop's flavor of Luminosity.
Extracting Lum with stock tools is easy enough, but what the hell.
Uses 30%, 59%, and 11%.

Extract Saturation
Extracts Photoshop's flavor of saturation.
Options to pick which RGB channels to toss it into.

Min Max Shop
Mostly for my own detective work.
The only practical use I've found for this so far is High Pass Mask Blurring.

Normalize Min Max
Hit ctrl+l and check the histogram before and after to see what this does.
Preserves Hue and Sat.
Options to normalize to 0, 128, and 255.

Opacity Pump
Too many funny people out there that don't know how to use a Layer Mask.
Or maybe you just made a silly mistake.
Partially transparent pixels?
Opacity Pump to the rescue!
Takes the sting out of having to use the long-winded, stock tool method.
Hopefully you'll never have to use it.

---------

Docs and tuts to come.
For now, it's time to sleep.
