| Node based Texture editor. If you like creating textures and normal maps and things, you got to check this Opensource Gem out. It's name is NeoTextureEdit. Fantastic. It's interface is also the future of image editing imo. Very similar to Aviary's Peacock. The developer recently added bitmap import so you can apply various effects on bitmapped images too. http://sourceforge.net/projects/neotextureedit/ Below's a thread that I started at GIMPTalk. | Re: Node based Texture editor. wow, that's pretty interesting. Having used Maya for 10 years, I've really been wanting a node based system in image editing and creation as well. I'll have to check this out!! |
