Abstract Glass Sculpture.

I recently purchased Flame Painter and have created quite a few glass sculptures using it. Thought I would share one here too.

I looks like it was fun to work with! Reminds me of something Chihuly would have made.

Re: Abstract Glass Sculpture.

OK Veronica; very cool stuff. I've actually seen these type sculptures before. Heres a lazy man try (given time, I could make it more exotic, but lazy I am. lol).

Click here for the raw output from Flame Painter (to get an idea what additional tweaks I do).

Re: Abstract Glass Sculpture.

Felt like doing another Chihuly inspired glass scupture. The link is to the full rez transparent background version (around 4.68MB) and you can use it for whatever reason you should desire; price paid for those willing to click.

Re: Abstract Glass Sculpture.

This one's not so abstract. Just my Dad in leaded glass. Didn't want to start another glass thread though. lol

The trick is to choose some cool texture blends as reflections sources.

Click link below for the complete rendition (embedded transparencies of course). Attached is a much smaller crop since I wanted to keep the embedded transparencies of the PNG file.

Re: Abstract Glass Sculpture.

Sorry about the late appreciations Palms. Dad really did like this result; he posted it on his bedroom bullitin board too. Anyway, I've been on a packed Circle binge for nearly a week now. Created a seamless texture and I modified it some before creating this globe.

Re: Abstract Glass Sculpture.

At the request from another forum that I frequent where I shared this result, below's a link to a shinier version (only a link since the size is over 6MBytes).
