Sorry, not mother and son. I knew that but forgot as you can see they are very close.

Ah... very nice.

Looks like you used the Impressionist plugin on the grayscale painting part... Pencil Sketch - Detailed Monochrome. Yes? No? Something else?

Thank you for the nice comment.

Since I don't use PS or PSP as yet, I am not sure if what I did relates to those plugins or not. I use MS Picture It and ArcSoft's PhotoStudio along with Irfanview for my editing. When I started editing a few months ago, that was what I had on my system so continued to use. I am still learning what I can do with them and to what extent things can be adjusted. I am finding more and more daily. One of these days, I may instll PS and/or PSP, but until then, my descriptions may be just a tad confusing to others due to the software that I presently have.

Not everyone has PS or PSP, so don't hesitate to include info on whatever program(s) you are using. Besides, there are a LOT of folks who read, but don't participate in this forum, so what you're doing and how you do it is of interest to many more than you think.

As you have shown, impressive works can be rendered using programs that aren't among those most commonly used.

Very nice Peter. It is one of the best "cartooned" I've seen lately.
