Just one more manip

While we were whippering and snappering I decided to post even another masterpiece of our lady in the hat.

Here's "Lady in Painted Dress." (And hat.)

Here's my take on that one

1 layer posterize, 1 layer fotocopy, some color and contrast manipulation and another layer for the frame (made out of her dress)..

Hi Steve
Nice effect, I like it that you did not applied it to her face, and in all it looks very nice !

Drach
I like your interpretation too, it looks like a poster and using the dress for the frame background was good, I didn't see it in detail and thought it was a sort of grunge effect

Regards - Martha

Thank you Martha.

That was a funky and fun idea. Heavily paint the whole image on a duped layer and paint out what you don't want.

Aged watercolor from the 60's.

Just some play with too many filters to give you an accurate detailed method. Like I've already mentioned before, each rendering, though I use most of the same filters all the time, the implementation is always different and rarely have I used rote methods in rendering images.

Hiya everyone.. long time no see

I gave this one another try using chalk (painter essentials2) and my trusty intuos. Added a little color-tuning afterwards in photoshop.

Enjoy

Bit of a necro-bump but I just found this one (since we cleared out the celebs)
Nothing ground breaking, I know, but I hope at least, pretty.

Wow; nice smudge Nancy. :)

I've already downloaded many brushes and presets, just haven't been that motivated to pursue this form of rendering (still like pushing filters to their limits). You're rendering is awesome and almost makes me want to try smudging though (like I said; almost. lol).
