Hi all,

Still trying for the pastel effect. I've been browsing the other forums and realise how far down the learning curve I am. I'm probably trying to reinvent the wheel. Oh well, it's a good way to learn -- Onwards and upwards.

============================

Craig,
The selection wouldn't save to the alpha channel on mine. It said there wasn't an alpha channel to save to ?????????? But it did save to disk.

Martha,

Regards to all,
Mitch.

C.i.

Considering the alternative to being "chronologically challenged" can put one in the right frame of mind very quickly. 8-)

mitch,
ok, the basic misunderstanding i had was that you were saving the selection without the content. so, save to alpha or not, thanks

steve,
yup. that's what my parents (90 and 83 years old) both say... it beats the alternative

Cool You guys made me laugh

Mitch, Steve, Craig,
Read your exchanges while at the office and had a great laugh, specially about Craig's threat to hit Steve with his cane, so funny.

Elleth.
Thanks for the link. Didn't buy the CDs but downloaded some interesting material.

Many thanks for the link to the swf tutorial by Trimoon, it did take some time but just left it downloading in the background and continued to browse the forum.

I like your results with the Mike Finn effects.
