| | I have the real one. I rarely run accross anyone else that has it, which is a shame because it's a great program. http://glasscat.smugmug.com/photos/32108841-L.jpg

| | Dave, an SA question. Does the full program accept files other than jpg??
Also, can you build layers like PS, close that file and maintain the separate layers?
Thanks

kiska | It will not open images that are layered. It will open most common files such as PSD, TIFF, PICT. I usually flatten and change it to a JPeg. You can create and work in layers inside the program and save as 8 different file types. The big advantage of SA is that it is non distructive in that it doesn't and can not change the original image. It is also resolution independent. You can start with a 72 500x600 image and put out a very large file 300 5000x6000 image and lose non of the detail. Oh I almost forgot, It will not not export in layers it flattens before saving.

| | Here's a rather quick attempt in Painter IX. I'm not too sure about the colors, as I did this on my laptop and am never sure that I'm looking at it at the right angle. Anyway, here it is. |

| | Thought I'd just drop in and say Hi
And then I thought I'd do some painting while I was here Done in Painter IX with Den's Messy Oil Brush and some Just Add Water to blend. Colour/contrast adjustments done in PSCS2.
You can see a larger version here: So Sexy |

| | | Glazed oil. Impressionist and Paint Engine (and some help from Flaming Pear's Pixel Trash). I added a final glaze step using Paint Engine and this preset that I came up with called Glaze. A little smoothing and GIMP's bumpmap and voila.
