Well, well. The hunk is definitely improving! I wouldn't mind plastic wrapping him and putting him in the freezer.

Just a curious question. Females don't mind artifying female portraits; why are men so skittish about painting males??????????????

cos women are just plain better looking?

I find it more curious that thats considered attractive.... I'd take love handles and a warm fuzzy beer gut to curl up on over that any day

hehe, boy, so many one-liners here. you'll certainly have a larger pool to choose from, self included and all this time i've been wasting my efforts to control my weight.

I'll add to this conversation by saying that most guys I know seriously enjoy looking at pretty girls; I like looking at handsome guys, but I tell my husband that I wouldn't trade him for Brad Pitt, Harrison Ford, and Richard Gere, rolled into one, and I mean it. He is my life, and I love everything about him, but we wouldn't be artists if we didn't appreciate the beauty of the human form.

Talking Most amusing thread !!!

by Ro you sure found a "hunk" this time and I enjoyed all of the renderings and most of all the exchange of comments by the participants. I had not seen it before but hope it's not too late to have some fun with him ... the image of course.

Kiska - One reason why men do not feel so keen on working with male images could be as NancyJ said because women are much nicer to look at. Or on my part, even though I do like men, I would rather work with a female image than that of a man. After all one (me) does not expect beauty in a man so there is not much incentive in improving his looks, perhaps in the sense of restoring and some retouching of blemishes only.

Well this is it for my two cents. Will download the image and see what I can come up with, publishable that is !

Regards - Martha
