| | | Creative Portraits: Hunk for the Ladies 1 OK... I finally found one that I believe the female artists will approve of. I wish I could tell you this is "me," but...
Have fun regardless of your gender.

| | | nancyj,
interesting. and you gave me an idea. i probably wont do it myself, so i'll pass it along. if you look at his left arm, it sort of (mind you, i said sort of), looks like it's been cut off. and that, along with your other treatments of his skin, reminded me of one of the old classic statues in marble where the arms or something else, are now missing. might be an interesting challenge to do just that to this image, turn it into an old michaelangelo classic statue.

| I'm glad you were able to fight through the grueling task of crafting your interpretation.

Mine... one Impressionist layer rendered by a custom style created by Cheryl Harrigan, one layer using Photoshop's Find Edges filter and another rendered by PS Colored Pencil, plus a Pattern Layer (grid) selectively applied by airbrushing black on its mask. See the Layer Palette snapshot for the details.
Paint away. |

| | | danny,
nice. the grid pattern gives it a sort of pre-painted feel to it, like a sketch done to get ready for a painting.

| | What makes you think I didn't work on this one? I had a heck of a time getting that water level just right! 8-)
Great castle story.

| | Danny, I don't know what's wrong with these people. This guy is GORGEOUS! All he needed was a little buffing up.
I put him through Digital Camera Noise Removal, wrapped him in Plastic Wrap, (down, Kiska!) Colorized him, played with Brightness/Contrast, and I wouldn't mind having him as my pool boy. Ok, so I don't have a pool. It's a small detail. |

Steve...
The only thing missing is the bubbles to simulate the boiling water!

Kiska... The daring colors are excellent. Gives him some needed character. |

| | I liked this guy so much I took my easel out to the grotto and painted him in oils. Took a long long time, and he got very impatient.
