I would think this handsome young man's mom would be overjoyed at the beautiful paintings everyone has done. Really creative and varied.
Here's my attempt, using Painter IX.

Really nice work here! Tried something a little different for me.
Duped background/Screen/Add MT layer filled with white/Reveal All/Loosely painted in background.

Impressionist: Fingerpaint/Image/25,100,158

Flattened, duped and flipped horizontal. Reduced opacity to 30%.

Adjusted contrast in LAB.

Cheers

Dave

Yeah, I noticed that, Craig, but looking at the original, it didn't seem to be enough difference to re-do.

Sketching Nathaniel

Hi Serissa and welcome. That's a rare result!

This is my first serious effort to try a sketch in Painter and glad I went through the exercise even though it took almost 4 hours. The first image is the result of using PowerRetouche B/W Studio Plugin and then cloning from that in Painter.

It's not so easy, is it, to maintain the correct shape/contours? In PSProX there was a lot of fine dodging and burning, also minimal amounts of Smudging with a chalk brush.

Hmmm, Craig and Legacy Art, I layered the painting over the original and erased down to the lips, expecting to find a color difference, but I flattened the layers, and the lips became the same shade once more. It's not a matter of my having colored them. Sometimes colors play tricks on our eyes.
Here's the erased version. I can't tell much difference.
