Erm, is it just me or was "feel free to have a go at her" a somewhat unfortunate choice of words in this context? (I have a couple of daughters myself so maybe I'm just overly sensitive.)

That aside, she is a remarkably lovely young woman and I had to try the sketch tute linked to earlier. More practice is called for, obviously.

(Note: my question wasn't meant to stir anything up. Just a wry observation. Really.)

Red face

Thanks Marsha. I am glad you like it, not a patch on some I've seen though.

Re: same girl pencil sketch

Finally got round to this one.
Mega smoothing, desat, added grain, motion blur, repeated the grain thing in opposite direction, added slight grain texture.

Re: same girl pencil sketch

Ok, here is my Snap Art (Pencil Sketch) interpretation. Unfortunately, I wasn't able to attach the setting because it was an unrecognized file type...

Looking great.
I think you can zip the file you want to attach.

Re: same girl pencil sketch

I just could not resist retouching the photograph of this girl with my personal technique...

The second graphic would make a beautiful background. She blends in so nicely...
