Creative Portraits: Cutie - Baby with Angel Wings

Mt first post here. Thought I would put up an image that would lend itself to an arty touch. One of the more pleasing portraits I have done recently

Wish you had a link to a bigger version.

Resized, and did some things. Here's the complete rendering; attached is a crop. And, yes, she's a cutie.

Re: Cutie

Oh my goodness....... it almost felt sacrilegious doing anything to this portrait..... she truly is a cherub and your portrait is beautiful....

Re: Cutie

Not a lot left to do to improve on good cutie-type images.

Just did a bit of color, contrast and sharpen.

Re: Cutie

umm....maybe I missed something. I figured it had that old world masters look to start with. As I am new here I have no experience with what has gone before. However, I have observed upon inspection of a handful of previous posts that the images have plenty of scope for creative improvement. The challenge with an image like cutie, is to take perfection & create something right out of the box. A difficult task.

Re: Cutie

studio 58, you're absolutely right; it did start with an old-world masters look, but i rarely comment on the originals other than just maybe a passing, 'nice picture'. so, no slight intended. it IS a good image.

oh, and welcome to RP.

Re: Cutie

hey Craig, no problem, no offence taken at all. My comments are usually a little contoversial. From what I have seen here, it is a fantastic community with a wonderful spirit of sharing, encouragement & co operation.
Stay tuned for cutie #2 & cutie #3.

Cheers,

Paul
