Re: Creative Portraits: Therese age 8!

Ou, I noticed lately time is moving faster and faster, but 10 years in 30 minutes is quite an acceleration.

P.S. Patricia, just look at your original post, it does say there that she is 18 now. I guess I do not pay enough attention ....

Re: Creative Portraits: Therese age 8!

Seo Han Woo, excellent!

patricia, you're welcome

and even though you got a full, non-compressed version, the playback on photobucket isnt quite what it looks like when i run my version here with windows media player. so, something is getting lost somewhere. i may have to put my web server back up so i can run things like this again.

watching a video and doing it at the same time is easy it is when you are doing both, answering the phone/door and doing the ironing it gets a bit tricky

Re: Creative Portraits: Therese age 8!

Palms, Patricia, thank you.

colored version.
I did not use eraser, made a brush from Trimoon's eraser instead, used the brush on layer mask. Added two more Impressionist layeres (chunky strokes).

I was going to do this myself, but could not figure out what brush (name) he used.

So:
a) What brush is it?
b) How did you figure that out?

Not sure if get the question correctly...

I believe Trimoon used an eraser (Erasertoolerasertip125.tpl, tool preset) eraser tip set to brush. Once one loads the preset all the settings in place.
I tried to search for coresponding brush, no luck...then I just made it from teh eraser.
I used the eraser on a white layer with black underlying layer, flattened and converted eraser imprint to brush.
I attach zip file with the brush (three brushes actually as I made a few with different contrast). I'm sure there mush be an easier way to convert eraser tool preset to brush... that I could not figure out.
