I have a little time this morning so here goes - got mooshed though in the sizing down. Liquid ink pens in Painter with Vincent texture.

This was done with layering texturing and layering texturing. It took about 40 layers before I was happy with them. I would work on one area at a time applying texture and erasing texture on different layers. It was kind of a mindless process.
