Cool stuff folks and thanks for the challenge Peter. Thought a bold smudge would look cool, so that's what I did. Attached is an extremely low quality version. Click on the thumbnail to see the high quality version.

Thanks Peter, but I'm not really happy with it. Again, I still can't wait to use a real smudging tool. Who knows; might become an artist yet (but until then, a filter simulator). lol

I think you've been using Ditherfree again.
Have you tried using DitherBox that ships with PS, Its on the CD somewhere I can't remember exactly where? The results won't be the same of course!!

Not used ditherfree on this one Peter, Its billed as a manual drawing in pencil style ! ! ! ! ! ! !

not tried ditherbox though willhave to investigate that
