Hi Danny
Here is what I did to the Dude.
I desaturated, then bumped up the neutral tones with cyan.
Dodged and burn some contours of the face.

did some darkening, d/b, sharpen, and then b/w sketch added back color, cropped

Well done Cathy and Keiser, whose crop I esp. like.

I, too, went for a contrasty look with this BW conversion (mostly a combination of the L and B channels).

The main bit of this was the cut out filter (plus a few other little things of course)
