TeeHee ... I couldn't resist. Somehow the curtain reminded me of a shower curtain so "psycho" naturally came to mind.

Thanks Craig

Barb T., I have no idea how to use a pattern tool but i like what you did. Especially the hair. I can totally relate to the need to focus on smaller areas.

Hello All.. I haven't posted here for a while so thought it time I did!

Here's my try at the Redhead. Painted and blended using Oil, Acrylics and Blender brushes in Corel Painter.

Re: Creative Portraits: Red Headed Beauty

i havent had as much time of late as i used to have, but i have managed to keep working on filter forge filters and photo art and a bit of restoration here and there. one of the filters i've been working on is a sort of oil impressionist type. it's already got quite a few variations. here's one small sample:

Re: Creative Portraits: Red Headed Beauty

i enjoy clever people and this filter was made by a clever person, Amethyst, over on the filter forge site. it's a snowglobe filter made in filter forge. i've seen tutorials on the web for making snowglobes from images before, but now, here's a filter that does it. pretty clever.

Re: Creative Portraits: Red Headed Beauty

Just a judgement call Craig; didn't want to cut in too deep and make this beautiful face convert to bad. Still, should have did a few detail steps to add some contrast.
