Re: Courtney

The attitude oozing from Courtney's face just makes these pictures. Wonderful work Joe, Peter and Palms. Thank you for reviving this thread.

Re: Courtney

Palms, that is lovely!

Peter, that is a very interesting sketch effect. Quite original. I think it looks like it could have been burned into wood (except for the whitish background).

You inspired me on your sketchy look, Peter...

The paper effect really sells it. How did you do the paper?

Re: Courtney

I used the whole kitchen sink on this one...
* Akvis > Sketch
* Andromeda > Screens
* Photoshop > Glowing Edges, Colored Pencil, Gaussian Blur, Unsharp Mask
* Virtual Painter > Oils
* Alien Skin Splat > Resurface
* Impressionist plugin

Whew!

Oh an easy question to answer thanks Danny.
It was a paper texture I downloaded ages ago (don't ask where from can't recall)
Placed this at the top of the stack and set the blend to multiply then faded the opacity to about 30% maybe less, can't remember if I desaturated or not, perhaps not as there was a channel mixer AL in there so it might have been second to top layer DOH.

Re: Courtney

Wow, this picture is so cool. Besides that i'm an HDR junkie, the minute I saw it, i said, this one will look perfect on HDR; beautiful girl, and the rusty high pitch yellow truck is a perfect match. So here is my first go, since i'm gonna play with it some more, although the original looks much better than the upload, due to the 100 kb limit. Thanx for sharing Janet, very nice renders guys.

Re: Courtney

Took a few liberties.. like some Freetransform on the sides and some lens correction (to acquire a slimming effect), smoothing, sharpening, etc
