Creative Portraits: Little Lady in Profile

As I was nosing about at Morgue file I found this one and had to have a go at it.
I hope you find it interesting enough to try it yourselves.

Been mind reading again peter ? was only thinking yesterday it was about time that you dug another of your great images out !

Used the same brush for both the art history and the history brush, then one with texture and one without

Definitely like the soft feel of your version Palms, and thanks for opening this thread again. Thought I would go illustration this time (using the Three Bar Sin gradient technique that I've been touting for a few weeks now).

AimeeBear--amazing. I'm looking through the various forums for the first time, and I particularly love this! As a mom of little ones, I appreciate the sweetness of the smudged look. Did you do this in Photoshop or Paint?
