Toddler brushing teeth

Thought I'd share this with you as I'm trying to archive my family's photos for my sons. I thought the original was really cute, 30 years ago, hope you have fun with it!

Re: Toddler brushing teeth

The BOSS walked into the room and gave your picture her stamp of approval.. She said, "Awww, that's a really cute baby!.. What a precious picture."

Thanks for the play, here's my version:

Re: Toddler brushing teeth

OlBaldy, I'm so glad that the 'boss' gave her stamp of approval I really, really like what you did with it, as well as cropping to focus on the main subject!

Lyle, well done! I always look forward to seeing your versions of anything! I've been away for quite a while and am not familiar with 'line stamping', have to have some play with it.

Thanks for your kind words Susie.

It is easy to focus on something as cute as your picture!

Re: Toddler brushing teeth

Trying another sewing technique that works better with bigger photos, but I gave it a whirl here too.

Re: Toddler brushing teeth

Lyle, what kind of sewing technique are you using? You're right, it works better with a larger image (your link) that is so cool!

Steve, nicely done, I especially like the detail of the brush work. I don't know about his dentist, but I'm awfully happy that none of those pearly whites got knocked out during his hockey-playing years .

Glad you liked it Susie. Can give you some hints: Newsprint filter and GREYCStorations with a lot of sharpening and selective sharpening steps.
