| Re: Close up very nice pix, peter...thx for getting this one started Mine (1): Akvis > Sketch & Impressionist plugins, Photoshop Texturizer effect. The "film edge effect" via applied using a Photoshop action I wrote/tweaked over the past couple days Click my name above to send me an e-mail if you would like this .atn. Works under CS3 on images of any size and resolution. #2: conversions to BW with film edge .atn applied to each pic. The resulting film-edged images were combined into a single image. | Re: Close up very lovely, sylvia i decided to put my contest prize, Akvis artwork 2.0 to work. i havent had much chance to use it before this and i must say, i'm impressed! it's got a good range of effects, does a very nice job on those effects and is very intuitive to use. it does have a few minor little bugs/unwanteds, but all in all, very handy, easy to use and produces some very good effects all of these are from the program. |

| Re: Close up Quote:
Over the years Lyle (aka lkroll) has inspired me with tools he's discovered and his creative innovation. He did it again with this interpretation based on "signature strokes." I found a signature on the Net (via Google image search) and from it created a custom brush for Impressionist. The LEFT attachment is the first layer rendered by Impressionist. The RIGHT attachment is where I stopped a few layers later. I also used Akvis > Sketch to restore some edge detail. |

| Re: Close up That's cool Danny; didn't check yet, but did you upload you custom brush set to the Impressionist thread? Anyway, thought I would go on the line side (not vector) for the final one. |
