Re: Yannis

Hello everybody,

i saw this forum by searching through natural painting programs.
Very impressive paintings - my respect.
Each one good in its style.

I have some questions and would be glad if you could answer me :

"It's not plugin, but AHB + Topaz Vivacity."
Ok - i know the Topaz Filters - but what is AHB ? I guess NOT Captain AHB, lol...

And a question to Janet - what programs did you use to do your version ?
Looks amazing to me !

Ok - this was my first post ever - i decided to join this forum because of your Yanni-Variations in here ;-D
Excuse my english - i am german.

Greetings from Stuttgart, Germany

Enzo

I only used Photoshop. I cut out the background and placed a layer below, then filled the new, blank layer with white. The rest was just dodge and burn, hue/sat, curves, and sharpening.

Thanks for the ego boost. I'm glad you liked it.

Re: Yannis

Hello again,

thank you very much for your informations, Janet and Palms !
A very good place to improve my skills in here.
I used to paint in former times, but the last years i did painting skins of aircraft for flightsimulator and sceneries for MS FlightSim.
But now most of the things i wanted to work in these category are finished and i need a new challenge.
So i re-animated my wacom and the old painter-pro from corel and will work on my basic skills first.

CU next time ! Greets from germany -

Enzo

Palms You are a SweetHeart!!

The action works great!!

I had the foreground color set at a dirty yellow when I ran the action and it gave a very nice effect on the first trial run, changed it to the default black on the second try then changed the foreground color to the prominent color for the third try and this is the result for "SHELLY"

Thank You! Thank You! Thank You!

Re: Yannis

Couldn't resist. I have no idea what I did. :-) I'm having about a million ideas at once. I'm wondering if I can combine every traditional method digitally - at once.

Hi Vitaly
I love this watercolor version, just curious as to how you use Topaz Vivacity for this watercolor? I've got most of the topaz range, but not Vivacity.
Thanks
